To democratize access to high quality college, career, STEM pathway, and entrepreneurship guidance and resources at critical transition points for young people from diverse communities.
Forward Impact Academy was founded by diverse leaders in education and career development with experience at top universities including Howard, MIT, Duke, and UNC-CH and Fortune 500 companies who are committed to providing young people of color with the skills, knowledge, career advice, and social network needed to reach their full potential.
We designed a tailored approach to providing college, career, STEM pathway, and entrepreneurship advising to students of color in a culturally affirming masterclass setting with engaging group advising and discussions with diverse leaders in education, business, and STEM careers. Our students build the confidence and connections they need to develop their career pathways.
Students of color can often feel isolated as they try to figure out what they want to do after high school. Our students start their journey in with a diverse cohort of their peers led by an advisor and career coach. Their cohort will serve as their home base and crew as they explore and navigate their college and career options throughout their experience.
